David started his working life with Andrew Burley in Sutton Coldfield back in 1995 and spent five years with the business during which time he successfully qualified as a Chartered Surveyor. In 2000, David joined Chesterton’s Retail department and over a four year period represented a number of well established retailers and landlords including Ann Summers, The Aga Shop, Centrica, Hortons Estates and Richardsons. In March 2004, David joined King Sturge as an Associate, again specialising in retail with high profile clients such as Orange, Holland & Barratt and Bank of Ireland.

Returning to Burley Browne as a Partner and now a Director, David is now able to offer specialist advice to both Landlord’s and Tenants that are involved in the retail and leisure markets.

Clients advised by David include Handmade Burger Company, Urban Pie, Jimmy Spices, Venture Portraits, approved Costa Coffee franchisees, a number of smaller independent and regional operators and a host of landlords and developers.
