Burley Browne have acquired another site for Urban Pie, the Birmingham based gourmet pie and mash restaurant operator, in Highcross the prestigious retail and leisure development in Leicester City Centre. 

Highcross, which opened in September 2008 provides over a 100 shops, three departments stores to include John Lewis, a 12 screen cinema and restaurants such as Wagamamas, Zizzi, Curluccios and Handmade Burger Company

David Hemming, Retail Director of Burley Browne who identified and negotiated the lease on behalf of Urban Pie commented “having previously acquired urban pie’s first site in Birmingham’s Bull Ring, we are absolutely delighted to have secured such a prime city centre location for their second store. This demonstrates our ability to identify high profile locations for our clients, particularly in this case where the property was not openly available on the market”.
