Peter joined the profession in the early 1970’s working for various Birmingham and West Midland firms of surveyors before commencing practice on his own account in August 1988.

In January 1999 Peter merged the practice of Peter C Browne Chartered Surveyors with Andrew Burley of Burley Property Consultants. Peter deals predominantly with Landlord & Tenant Negotiations, Valuations and Office / Industrial acquisitions and disposals on a local, regional and national level for a varied range of clients from private individuals to national and international corporate companies .

In 2009, Peter qualified as a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Accredited Mediator.
