Langley Brook Business Park Disposal

General | 20.12.2016

Burley Browne have recently assigned the leasehold interest of a 40,133 sq ft (3,728.43 sq.m) series of units just off London Road near to Middleton, Tamworth.

The units were previously occupied by Farmcare who utilised the premises for warehousing and sorting of potatoes.

The remainder of Farmcare's lease was assigned to a local Coleshill Company - Time Logistics Limited who were seeking much larger premises for their business.

The warehousing complex was placed on the market in August by Burley Browne - Director Mark Fitzpatrick commented - "The units attracted very healthy levels of interest from various types of occupier - from both local and regional companies".

The property was left in very good condition when Farmcare relocated their business to Scotland and also benefitted from extensive yard areas and dock and level loading.  The property was assigned at a nil premium/rent free for the remainder of the lease which expires June 2018.

This disposal brings Burley Browne's recent Tamworth industrial disposals close to 90,000 sq ft in two buildings within the disposal of FMS Building at Centurion Park which extended to 47,423 sq ft (4,405 sq.m) which was a freehold sale on an off market basis.

The Tamworth market is particularly active at present with a number of other office and industrial disposals currently being in solicitors hands and once they complete this will take Burley Browne's disposals in 2016 to over 100,000 sq ft (9,290 sq.m) in the Tamworth area.
