Burley Browne have successfully let 21 Tamworth Street, Lichfield to a private individual for the use as a new 'Micropub' trading as 'The Whippet Inn.'

Negotiations were successfully concluded following the grant of planning permission for the change of use from A1 (Shops) to A4 (Drinking Establishments).

21 Tamworth Street comprises an attractive single storey retail unit located within the heart of the City on one of the main thoroughfares to the commercial centre.

Ben Nicholson, agency surveyor at Burley Browne commented "We are really excited about concluding this letting and hope that this new concept proves to be extremely popular, particularly as it offers an alternative for the Real Ale drinkers of Lichfield!"

David Hemming, Director of Agency at Burley Browne added, "The transaction is further evidence of the continuing popularity in the City for new entrants and reflects early signs of growing confidence in the market."

The Whippet Inn is due to open its doors in mid April 2014.
