One door closes and another opens as Record UK agrees deal

A leading supplier and manufacturer of automatic doors is relocating its Midlands headquarters after completing a deal brokered by commercial property consultancy Burley Browne.

Record UK has signed a 10-year lease on a 11,325 sq ft warehouse unit at Forge Mills Park, Station Road, Coleshill.

As one door closed for the former occupier, which agreed to surrender its lease, another opened for Record UK which had been searching for the perfect location for its Midlands base, said Burley Browne Senior Associate Director Ben Nicholson.

Ben said: “We are very pleased to announce that we have completed the letting of units 4-5 Forge Mills Park to Record UK. These were quite complex negotiations involving three parties – the exiting tenant, the new tenant and the landlord that we were acting on behalf of – and we are delighted to have been able to reach agreement to the satisfaction of all parties.  

The property consists of two adjoining modern units with two-storey office accommodation situated in a very popular location, with easy access to the M6 and M42 motorways and the M6 toll road. We would like to wish Record UK every success in its new Midlands base.”
